The Associated General Contractors has named three Arizona construction firms, Tempe-based J. Banicki Construction; Tempe-based PCL Construction and Prescott Valley-based Asphalt Paving and Supply as winners of the Construction Safety Excellence Award. Each firm placed in the top three of their respective divisions. The firms were recognized for the strength of their safety programs and overall safety performance during 2008.
The Construction Safety Excellence Awards winners were announced during AGC’s 90th Annual Convention being held last week in San Diego, California. A panel of construction safety professionals from the public, private and non-profit sector selected winners of the award.
