New pavers offer electric heat, versatile extension designs

The new VersaScreed series pavers from Terex include an 8-foot and 10-foot model targeted for subdivisions, county roads, parking lots and other commercial applications. The 8-foot VersaScreed offers variable paving widths from 8 to 13 feet and the 10-foot VersaScreed gives you infinitely variable widths from 10 to 17 feet. Both have 24-inch-wide main and 8-inch extension screed bottoms as well as a wedge-shaped extension design that automatically sheds asphalt when narrowing paving widths. The VersaScreed series uses the tipping frame technology found on Terex’s Stretch series mainline screeds, formerly sold under the Cedarapids brand, which eliminate the need for wear strips and shims.
