The Ohio State Highway Patrol (OSHP) reports that, on the morning of December 3, a semi hauling a large dozer and traveling east on Interstate 76 hit the East Avenue bridge, according to a report from News 5.
The dozer was too tall for the bridge clearance and crashed into the side. The dozer then flipped over onto the interstate. A passenger car then hit the dozer.
The OSHP said there were no injuries, but the East Avenue Bridge was closed until an inspection of its structure could be completed. Eastbound I-76 was also closed until the dozer could be removed.
