LIVERMORE, Calif.– September 10, 2009 – The new GRS-1 handheld RTK GNSS receiver now supports Pocket 3D software. Pocket 3D Version 9.0 is a Windows Mobile® 6.1 release intended only for use with the GRS-1 and is designed to be used as part of a GPS network solution.
Tony Vanneman, TPS construction products marketing manager, said, “Pocket 3D Version 9.0 makes the GRS-1 a complete construction tool. It includes a grade indicator when performing a ‘surface check’ or when staking out an alignment. The user can select a tri-color grade indicator similar to the one seen in the 3D-MC software that gives real-time updates of cut and fill values to the design surface alignment.”
The GRS-1 RTK rover features:
