The RMC Research and Education Foundation released a new document and supporting materials with guidelines for sustainable concrete plants. Sustainable Concrete Plant Guidelines helps producers make concrete plants and operations more sustainable.
The Guidelines were developed by West Main Consultants and William C. Twitty, Jr., with guidance from the National Ready Mixed Concrete Association’s senior vice president of sustainable construction, Lionel Lemay. The Foundation hopes the Guidelines will be a revolving document and seeks comment from industry professionals.
