ITT Flygt has redesigned its Ready line of contractor pumps and added the Ready 8S trash pump. The pump line is made of stainless steel and synthetic materials and is capable of handling abrasive and corrosive liquids. The Ready 8S can handle water containing sand, gravel and debris with particle sizes up to 11/2 inches. Other units in the line, the Ready 4 and Ready 8, are compact submersible pumps designed for dewatering construction sites, manhole drainage and similar applications.
