The Posi-Track undercarriage, offering multiple levels of suspension that distribute the 8,972-pound operating weight down to 3.5 psi of ground pressure, features standard all-rubber, 18-inch-wide tracks.
The undercarriage is suspended from the chassis of the machine by torsion axles, a feature that adds ride comfort and traction. Because the undercarriage bogie wheels flex, much of the vibration and shock associated with running over rough terrain is taken away.
Load-sensing, low-flow auxiliary hydraulics max out at 17.4 gpm; the machine has a 30-gpm high-flow auxiliary hydraulic capability at 3,000 psi.
The PT-75 has a 3,100-pound operating capacity at 50 percent tipping load capacity and 178.5 foot-pounds of peak torque. An optional two-speed hydrostatic drive system lets you select low for maximum torque or high for faster travel speeds up to 10.5 mph.
In the video below, Jon Ferguson, regional sales manager for Terex Construction Americas, takes us on a walkaround of the PT-75.
