Pettibone dealers have begun hosting a service training program the company says is focused on the next generation X-Series Extendo and Traverse telehandlers.

The X-Series Service School provides Pettibone dealer employees live, in-person machine training in a one-day, classroom session. The sessions are led by Brian Anderson, a Pettibone service technician who has been with the company’s or 13 years.

Students get hands-on training with an overview of hydraulic system and components, tutorials on servicing the booms for all X-Series telehandlers and the traversing carriage on the Traverse models.

The classes are being held at regional dealer locations. Recent classes were held at Pettibone’s headquarters in Baraga, Michigan, for Midwest dealers; and Power Pro Equipment in New Holland, Pennsylvania for those in the northeast.

“We try to do as much training as we can in the field,” says Anderson. “Our parts and service department team works hard to deliver personalized support for all our dealers and customers, and the X-Series Service School is another piece we’ve added to enhance the experience for those responsible for maintaining or operating Pettibone equipment.”
