Case CE says it has updated its entire five machine lineup of N Series backhoes with several updates, including making standard a few features that used to be optional.

Case N Series machines now feature a new Pilot Control hydraulic system. Case says this new hydraulic system provides an operator with more control and precision in critical applications. The system also reduces cab noise.

Case has also made its fuel economy package, which used to be optional, a standard feature. This package includes ECO mode switches for the loader and backhoe functions, Auto Engine Idle, Auto Engine Shutdown and Engine Protection Shutdown, the last of which is a mode that turns the engine off if engine temperature, drivetrain fluid temperature or engine oil pressure go out of the normal operating range.

Case has also made standard a battery disconnect switch and jumpstart terminal.

The N Series drivetrain has been upgraded as well for improved roading and gradability. The new drivetrain also boasts more pushing power under load and greater acceleration around the jobsite, Case says.

The machines also feature adjustable Extendahoe wear pads “for easier maintenance and serviceability while keeping tight tolerances, reducing strain and wear on components,” Case says.
