Atlas Copco appoints new VPs, strategic manager

Atlas Copco has announced five new staff positions, including four vice presidents and a strategic development manager.

Rob Johnston will serve as vice president/business line manager for the air and tools business line. He has been with the company since 2011, most recently as business line manager for the Portable Energy Division.

Jim O’Brien has been appointed vice president/business line manager for the company’s power generation solutions, pumps and light towers. He has been with Atlas Copco for about 20 years, most recently as vice president for the U.S. Construction Tools Division.

 

Massimo Caiazza will serve as vice president of the North American service division of the global Power Technique business, which includes aftermarket business for air and tools, power generation, pumps and lighting. He has been with Atlas Copco since 2005 and was the company’s vice president of marketing parts and service for the Construction Tools Division in Germany.

Mike Marion has been appointed vice president of Region Canada to lead sales and marketing for the company’s Power Technique business area. He joined Atlas Copco in 2011 and was most recently vice president and business lines manager for the Construction Tools Division.

Chuck Westhofen has been appointed strategic development manager. He has been assigned to seek growth opportunities in the United States and Canada for the company’s air compressors, power generators, lighting and pumps. He has worked at Atlas Copco for 12 years, including as business development manager with its rental division.
