Lincoln Electric added UltraCore 70C (E70T-1 H8, E70T-9H8) wire to its line of gas-shielded, flux-cored consumables. The 70C is designed to meet the requirements of the structural fabrication and heavy equipment industries.
The 70C features low-fume generation rates that increase cleanliness and visibility while welding. Diffusible hydrogen levels are controlled at an H8 AWS classification to provide to hydrogen-induced cracking.
UltraCore 70C also features reduced clean-up time with its bead stacking and slag removal. High deposition rates further increase productivity by allowing for fewer passes to complete a joint.
