Case marks 40th year making skid-steer loaders

Case Construction Equipment will celebrate 40 years of manufacturing skid-steer loaders in 2009. The company began producing skid steers under the Case name in 1969 after acquiring the Uni-Loader line from Universal Industries. The company is scheduled to manufacture its 250,000th skid steer this year.
