The Work Truck Show 2010, NTEA convention to be held in St. Louis

The 2010 Work Truck Show will be held in St. Louis, Missouri, in conjunction with the 46th Annual National Truck Equipment Association (NTEA) convention. The convention, training sessions and the Green Truck Summit begin March 9 and the show floor opens March 10 and lasts through March 12.

The show offers attendees the opportunity to see the latest Class 1-8 full-size work trucks and equipment. It also provides technical and business management training sessions. The 2010 Work Truck Show currently has more than 325 exhibitors signed up to participate. The 2010 schedule of classes and exhibits has not been released.

The Green Truck Summit discusses new hybrid work trucks, alternative fuels and the costs of “going green.” Hybrid models were available in the 2009 Green Truck Summit for a ride-and-drive test.

The Work Truck Show 2009 featured almost 500 exhibitors, more than 40 educational sessions and more than 8,500 attendees, the second-largest number of attendees in the show’s history. Keynote speakers included Mike Rowe of the reality TV show “Dirty Jobs” and T. Boone Pickens.
