Terex announced Sept. 15 it has obtained a waiver from its senior bank lending group giving the company until Oct. 15 to provide lenders with financial information for 2004 and the first two quarters of 2005. Terex says it is working diligently to complete the filing of its financial restatements with the Securities and Exchange Commission, which began investigating the company in August in relation to its restatement of financial information for 2000-2003. The company says it is in the final stages of internal and external review of 2004 and prior statements and will file the appropriate documents in the next several business days.
